What makes your clay gnomes better then the ones made of resin?
There are many differences. Our Gnomes are never mass produced and Made in the USA. All our clay gnomes are glazed both on the INSIDE and the OUTSIDE with special glazes which increase their durability against fading, weather, water, insects and environmental impacts. The color applied to each of our Clay Gnomes is actually a colored glaze that is applied during the firing process which sets the beautiful colors firming into the clay. This method also makes all our clay gnomes outdoor safe, frost resistant and UV protected. The final glaze gives each Gnome a beautiful antique matte finish. If you prefer a shiny finish you can add a coat of simple varnish.
